Aguas De La Cuenca Del Guadalquivir S.A. is a private company based in Spain which is primarily engaged in the construction of water projects. The company, with headquarters located in Sevilla, Spain, was established in October 1999 with a share capital that is disbursed completely by its shareholder, the Spanish State. Aguas De La Cuenca Del Guadalquivir, also known as Aquavir, was constituted to manage directly the competitions that correspond to the Administration of the State in the matter of hydraulic public works in the territorial scope of the rivers Guadalquivir, Guadalete and Barbate. The company's business includes the construction of sewer, pipeline and communications and power line. In addition, the company is also involved in architectural, and engineering activities and technical consultancy services. The company also participates in the private sector and of other administrations and canalizing the aids of Fondos Europeos FEDER y de Cohesión with the grant of approximately 500 million euros in agreement with the criteria of the European System of Accounting 95 (SEC-95).
